Removing OpenCMS documents and non-essential components - What to keep

For running OpenCms 6.2.x you need to install at least the following modules from the installation package:

  • org.opencms.editors
  • org.opencms.editors.fckeditor this is the most modern HTML editor for OpenCms
  • org.opencms.legacy this will be removed in OpenCms 7
  • org.opencms.workplace
  • org.opencms.workplace.administration
  • org.opencms.workplace.explorer
  • all packages that start with org.opencms.workplace.tools

(This is the very minimum for running the workplace, with no technical documentation, no user documentation, no additional templates, languages, etc.)
